We require a letter from your GP to explain and describe the difficulties your child is having, and why they need to be seen by a paediatric specialist. This letter is also required in order for you to be eligible for a Medicare Rebate. A referral from a GP is valid for 12 months from the date of your first visit with us. A referral from another specialist is also appropriate, however only valid for 3 months.

We are currently conducting appointments via Telehealth using Doxy. Patients will receive instructions in the week prior with a link for this service. It is very simple and easy to use. Please call the office if you have any questions about this.

Where a child requires a physical examination, you may attend for a Face to Face consultation. Please contact reception if you need to request an in person visit, and you will be advised of the next steps to take for this.

This is a private billing clinic and all fees are payable on the day of consultation. Doctors fees are claimable via Medicare, not private health insurance. We are able to lodge the claim on your behalf, once payment has been made.

Because our appointments are allocated for one hour in duration, we require plenty of notice if you need to cancel, ideally the week before your appointment.
Reminders are sent out 2 weeks prior via email. You will also get an SMS reminder 48 hours before the appointment.
Cancellations received after this message may incur a cancellation fee. This is applied at the discretion of the relevant medical practitioner.
